The Bicycle Peddler is located inside the Savannah Rapids Park at the Headgates of the Mighty Savannah River where the Historic Augusta Canal begins. The main Canal trail, originally used by draft animals to pull canal cargo boats upstream to the locks, is nestled in between the river and the canal which makes it one of the most stunningly scenic rides in this Augusta Canal National Heritage Area. It features several historic sites as well as the city’s only suspension bridge and it connects the park to downtown Augusta.   It’s perfect for all skill levels. Additional trails into wooded single-track areas add variety for the more experienced rider.
